FAQ

Do I need any prior musical knowledge?

Absolutely not. I customize each lesson according to the student’s abilities and goals  in a step by step way, so you can see fast progression in your singing abilities no matter what level you’re at right now.

My son is 8 years old, will lessons work for him?

Yes, I have taught a wide variety of ages.  For children under 8 years of age, I recommend that a parent should help to explain some lessons.

I currently have a vocal coach. Are online lessons still worth investing in?

Yes, because I also offer customized accompaniment tracks for you and vocal exercise tracks that you can use daily to practice.

How do I contact you for support in case something isn’t working? Where is your phone number?

Due to an extremely busy teaching and performance schedule, email is the best way to communicate. Emails are responded to in order and the most efficient way to meet your needs.

What Are Online Voice/Piano Lessons?

Online lessons are like the more familiar singing/piano lessons except that the teacher and the student are not in the same room together. While you and I are in different locations, we are still connected by the internet. If you have a stable internet connection, a web cam and a good microphone, there is no reason why you can’t take advantage of online lessons. If you are interested in piano, having a keyboard or piano is absolutely necessary! You may also be required to purchase lesson books.

My experience has been that a Zoom meeting provides the best results. I will send a meeting link via email and all you have to do is click on it to begin your lesson!
